Fantic motorcycle recalls: nothing on file with NHTSA

NHTSA has no Fantic motorcycle or scooter campaigns on file for model years 2015–2027. Check your VIN anyway — the database is organised by manufacturer filings, and imported or grey-market bikes may never appear in it.

A recall is a dealer job, but the pre-trip check around it is yours. Fantic bikes still need the same roll of tools once you are out of range of one.

Fantic recall FAQ

How do I check whether my Fantic has an open recall?
Enter the 17-character VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls, or the Transport Canada recalls database if you are in Canada. The VIN check is the only answer that is specific to your bike: this page lists campaigns for the brand, but whether yours is inside a campaign's build range and whether the work has already been done are both VIN-level facts.
Does a Fantic recall cost anything to fix?
No. A safety recall is repaired free of charge by an authorised dealer, however old the bike is and however many owners it has had. If you already paid for the same repair before the recall was announced, ask the manufacturer about reimbursement.
How many recalls does a Fantic have?
None for model years 2015–2027. Fantic has no motorcycle or scooter campaigns in the NHTSA database for that period, which usually means either a genuinely clean record or that the brand's bikes are not sold in the United States.
Can I ride a Fantic with an open recall?
It depends on the campaign. NHTSA flags the serious ones as "do not drive" or "park outside", and those are marked on this page — for anything flagged, stop riding and call a dealer. For the rest, book the work at the next service, and get it done before a long or remote trip rather than after it.
