Before you pack
- — Carry an SAE spanner/socket set, not metric. A 1/4in SAE bolt is nearly an M6, and mixing them strips threads.
- — Belt final drive: no chain tools, but a belt is not roadside-repairable — inspect it before departure and know your recovery options.
- — Pan America is metric and chain-driven, unlike the rest of the range — treat it as its own bike.
- — Cast wheels are tubeless: a plug kit plus a compressor is the right tire strategy.
